After meeting the customer · Scenario 03

The customer said they were "interested" — what did this meeting actually confirm?

After meeting the customer, hand the meeting recording or your verbal account to the system. It first clarifies the exchange: who said what, how the customer responded, which statements don't add up; then it checks key steps against MEDDIC and the six-step sales method—was the pain point confirmed, who feels it most, what happens if it isn't solved. For any unconfirmed step, it prompts you to fill it in, records it, and reminds you at the next meeting.

After meeting the customer · Communication confirmation

Just finished meeting the client, on the road back to the office in the car. We talked for over an hour, and the impression is that "it went well," but what exactly was confirmed and what was missed—only a rough sense remains in my head.

Salesperson speaks

Sales (verbal): "I met the customer's business lead. He said they find this system really annoying to use, and every time they make reports they have to organize them manually. But he didn't mention budget, and when I asked twice he changed the subject."

System: "The pain point is confirmed, but the budget step isn't. Under MEDDIC's Identify Pain, the confirmation of 'what happens if we don't solve it' is still missing. For the next meeting, suggest asking: how much manual labor cost does this incur each month right now?"

How Boss Agent judges

The system checks this interaction against the six MEDDIC elements and the six-step sales process: which steps were confirmed, which are missing, and which statements don't add up. What the customer explicitly said counts as confirmed; avoidance, deflection, or omission counts as missing — missing steps go into a follow-up question list, are recorded, and are scheduled for review.

MEDDIC Six elements for evaluating an opportunity: metrics, decision maker, decision criteria, decision process, pain points, champion

Identify Pain Confirm the pain point is real and urgent enough to justify budget

Six-Step Sales Method Discovery, Scope, Go/No-Go, Validate Solution, Business Case, Negotiate & Close; this visit only adds evidence for the current stage

Common questions
Will recordings leak customer privacy?

Recordings are processed only on your own device, and you decide whether to keep or delete them; you can also just dictate without uploading a recording.

How does the system know which steps haven't been confirmed?

Check item by item against the six MEDDIC elements: what the client clearly said counts as confirmed; avoidance, deflection, or omission counts as missing. Want to see what this confirmation checklist looks like? Add us on WeChat and we'll send it to you.

Where is your team stuck?

How many customers have you seen where the conversation was lively, but only after everyone dispersed did you realize something key was missed? Send me your current visit review approach and let's compare notes.
