ORGANIZATION / Problem first

How do individual Agents gradually form organization-level collaboration?

Organization-level collaboration should grow out of usable individual Agents: first let each Agent understand the tasks, materials, business objects and judgment boundaries of the person it belongs to, then let Agents pass context with sources, task status and items to be confirmed between them. Permissions, pricing, resources, customer commitments, professional conclusions and irreversible actions are still left to designated people to confirm.

Definition: What is organization-level Agent collaboration?

It does not start by building a "big system" detached from the role, but by having people communicate with their own Agents, and then having the Agents handle the necessary information transfer, follow-up questions, coordination, memory and task handoffs. Individual productivity is the foundation; organizational productivity only emerges when multiple useful individual Agents are connected under unified permissions and responsibility boundaries.

A four-step path from individual to organization

1. Take on an individual's real tasks

Start with verifiable tasks such as document retrieval, customer research, meeting notes, first drafts, reminders and review checklists, and define the inputs, outputs and human confirmation points.

2. Establish business objects and states

Turn customers, opportunities, cases, contracts, tasks, deliverables and owners into objects that can be continuously referenced, preserving source, permissions and current status.

3. Define cross-role handoffs

Clarify which facts can be passed to whom, in what format, who takes the next step, and when to ask further or stop, so the Agent does not merely forward a summary with no owner.

4. Let the Agent coordinate, let people decide

The Agent automatically prepares and syncs; when resources, strategy, pricing, external commitments and exceptions are involved, it generates clear items pending confirmation and waits for the appropriate owner.

What is the Agent responsible for?

Individual Agents are responsible for collecting materials within the authorized scope, organizing context, labeling sources, maintaining status, preparing handoff packages, tracking tasks and flagging gaps. What passes between Agents should be structured facts, responsible parties, deadlines and open questions — not organizational decisions made unilaterally.

What must people decide?

Role owners confirm professional conclusions and external content; managers decide priorities, resources and exceptions; authorizers decide data permissions and automation scope. Customer commitments, quotes, contracts, investment risks and irreversible operations must retain a clear human chain of responsibility.

When does it apply?

Suited to teams with scattered materials, frequent handoffs across sales/pre-sales/delivery, many repeated follow-up questions, and task statuses that are hard to keep updated. If individual tasks themselves are not yet defined, materials have no owner, or permission rules are missing, you should first sort out individual work rather than expanding directly into an organizational network.

Common misconceptions

Adding more Agents does not equal collaboration:Without objects, states and responsibility boundaries, it only adds messages.
Automatic delivery does not equal automatic authorization:Being able to read does not mean being able to send externally or make commitments.
Organizational efficiency cannot skip individual value:If a personal agent does not solve real tasks, connecting it to other agents will not automatically create business value.
A summary is not a complete handover:Source, gaps, owner and next step are equally important.

From individual work to team collaboration

First clarify the materials, objects, rules, owners, and open items in an individual task, then let task status and sourced context flow between roles. Keep a clear handoff point at every step so the team can continuously review and improve how it works.

WECHAT / Organizational handover

Want to start from a cross-role handoff?

When adding WeChat, you can say: "I'd like to map out one handoff between sales, pre-sales and delivery." First look at how information flows and who is responsible for confirmation, then decide which part the Agent should take on.
